EYELETS FOR BANNERS

These can be split in to four main groups and with the exception of the PolyGroms™ they are all manufactured from high quality brass as standard:

 

 

 

  • Self-piercing eyelets; For low to medium volume work, quick and easy to insert with simple equipment.
  • PolyGroms™; These are polycarbonate eyelets which allow easier recycling of the entire banner and the transparent are also nearly invisible.
  • Standard sail eyelets; High volume or specialised work/materials
  • Grommet eyelets; Extra strength for tough jobs

We make eyelets and setting equipment and we understand how  they work together, this gives us a great insight in to the technical aspect of eyeleting.

It’s very important that the eyelets match the setting dies of your machine. Even a difference of a fraction of a millimetre can prevent an eyelet setting correctly. However we have a wide range of eyelets and can usually find a solution that means you don’t need to replace your machine.

As a manufacturer of eyelets we are not at the end long supply chain where the original source is always changing, if you buy an eyelet from us today you will get the same eyelet from us when you re-order.

Yes, they are designed to go through the folded hem of a banner.

Why are brass eyelets better than steel?

Why are brass eyelets better than steel?

Brass is better than steel because it will not rust, even electro-plated steel will still rust when exposed to wet weather, ruining your banner. Brass is also more malleable than steel and easier to insert with a manual machine.

With a setting machine, either manual or powered the end result is the same. The machine re-shapes the eyelet barrel and grips the material to reinforce the hole.

Yes, we supply hemming tape and other items to such as bungees and cable ties to complete your banner.
